Do you know pilot who shot down enemy plane during World War II? Erich Hartmann, a German Pilot from Poros who has many “ace” with 352 air combat wins and 345 of them won against Soviet Air Force and he called “The Black Devil” by Soviet army.
While in allied side, a Soviet pilot name Ivan Kozhedup called “Ace of Aces” with his 62 air combat skills, which the highest number from his side. Even though those wins below Hartmann does, but he deserved thumb up for his skill for flying planes which less sophisticated than Germans planes. He known as a pilot who can shoot by fly a loop, not many pilots can do that at that time.
Kozhedup with his aircraft Lavochkin La-5 is one of a legend inspires Aviator 100 anniversaries for it latest edition.
