Tablet pc competition is getting hotter after Acer release Iconia A500. This is a first Acer tablet pc and also the first table pc in Indonesia using Android 3.0 operating system. For your information, Android 3.0 is also called Honeycomb is an operating system specially made for tablet pc release in February 2011. Before this release, Android is used by table pc which actually designed for smart phones.
Iconia A500 is 10,1 inch with 1280×800 resolution, camera in the front and the back side for you to take picture or video, up front camera has 2MP while the other one has 5MP resolution camera. Both cameras able to record video up to 720p, you can capture valuable moment around you with high resolution image.
This 765 gram device does come with cellular connection, if you want to browse the internet; you can use WiFi and Bluetooth to have pairing connection with cell phone, another cool feature is mini HDMI to TV connection, all you have to do is plug into TV from Iconia, then you can watch your favorite DVD movie or video files in TV screen.
You can even play game in it, because Acer installed 3 standard games into Iconia A500, let’s Golf, Need for Speed Shift and Hero of Sparta. Playing Let’s Golf is quite fun in Iconia A500 because the screen look much brighter while screen movement and game effect feels natural.
Acer Iconia A500 is available in 2 versions, 16GB and 32 GB, if you think this isn’t enough for you, there are USB and MicroSD for additional space capacity. In the US market you can have it for $450.
